Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question that isn't answered here? Reach out at dania@synergetichealings.com or text 478-216-7378.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept insurance for psychotherapy sessions. Coverage may vary depending on your plan. I recommend contacting your provider to confirm your benefits before your first session. I'm happy to provide a superbill if needed.
Do I have to include mind-body or spiritual practices in my sessions?
No, not at all. Therapy is tailored entirely to your comfort and goals. If you're interested in somatic, mindfulness, or spiritual elements, we can explore that together. If you prefer traditional talk therapy, that is completely valid and welcomed. Your comfort is the priority.
Do you offer in-person and virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my Macon, Georgia office (610 3rd Street, Suite 202) and HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in Georgia.
Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes, I am accepting new clients. You can schedule a free consultation directly through the Book Now page or reach out via the contact page to check availability.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book directly through my secure client portal, schedule a free informational session, or reach out by phone, text, or email. Visit the Book Now page to see all options.
How long will I be in therapy?
The duration of therapy varies for each person. Some clients meet their goals in a focused short-term engagement, while others benefit from ongoing longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your progress to make sure therapy continues to serve your evolving needs.
What are your fees? Do you offer a sliding scale?
Session fees vary depending on the type of service. I do not currently offer a sliding scale. Please contact me directly for the full fee schedule.
Do you work with teens?
Yes. I work with teens (13+) and adults of all ages, supporting each stage of the journey with care, cultural sensitivity, and clinical insight.
What is the difference between therapy, consulting, and supervision?
Psychotherapy is a clinical service focused on your mental health and healing. Consulting is a professional advisory service for organizations and professionals — it does not constitute therapy. Clinical supervision is a structured professional service for MSWs and LMSWs pursuing LCSW licensure — it is also not therapy. Each service is governed by its own agreement.
